I NEED FEED BACK!!!
I would like to change our race days and have a great moto count for the track on every race. I would like to find out the best day to race and practice. The last two years we have found out the weekends are bad, due to the multi-point races set up with other tracks and people like to camp or go out of town. My goal is to have large number of motos. So with that said, I was thinking Wednesdays for racing, just because Rapids race on Thursdays. This could bring riders down to our track from there's. The more rider count the more riders in your moto. I would like to fill the gates :) Also we would start having practice on Tuesdays. Please email me your thoughts. I need to get my schedule into the ABA.
I have had a great reply with the flyers that we past out at the parade, over 50 inquaries. We will be on Channel 8 news in the spring with a great commercial. I will need alot of help with the track in the spring, we will be changing it alot. We have alot of room to run another two straights for the better riders, so I will be hauling in alot of clay and we will go to work. We will have a beginner straight and a Inter, and expert straight, something like the Olympic track set up.

I want to start with Thanking everybody for your help at the parade. It went really great. We passed out over 4500 fliers. We will have a great start for next year.
Now the bad news. With all the rain and very cold weather we will not be racing anymore this year. I talked with parents and riders and I'm getting feed back that we should make the track more techlical for next year. So I will be asking all the parents and riders to come down in the spring and we will put together a great track. We have alot of room in the track area and I have had suggestions to put a split track down the second straight. This would make our track different than other tracks.
I'm setting up a system that will text your phone about track info. ex: race cancelations. If you would be interested to get the text information please email me with your cell #. This will not start until 2010. I think this will be a great way to communicate.

We will no longer be having practice on Thursdays for the rest of the year. We will be racing on Saturdays for another 2 to 3 weeks. Saturday, September 26 we will not be racing. We will all be in the Oktoberfest Parade.
OKTOBERFEST PARADE PLANS: We will all meet at the track at 8:00am Saturday morning. If you don't make it to the track you can meet us at the parade. We will be lined up on Caledonia street, unit number 98. The parade starts at 10:00am. We would like as many riders and parents as possible. We have over 5000 flyers to hand out. We now have our staging area concreted. We will be able to use it today. The next step we will be covering it, next week I believe. Ward Construction will be doing all the work. The riders will be cooler under the roof. The company that was going to do our bleachers, is not a company. It was a internet scam. I asked for a business lic. and they sent it to me. I called the county office and it was a bogis lic. They were asking for $18,000 up front, NOT. So I will have to start all over. I have other companys giving me quotes. What we would like to start is this: (We have the ABA blessing).
A) We would like to have Races / Practice on Thursday's. Practice & registration from 5:00pm to 6:30pm races to start asap. We would run a 2 moto transfer. If you do not want to race you would pay $5.00 practice fee, racing you would pay a $10.00 fee. Practice would end at 6:30pm.
B) We would like to offer some monies back to the riders. What we propose is to offer in place of trophies, if you choose to, 1st place $3.00 track credit, 2nd place $2.00 track credit, & 3rd place $1.00 track credit. We know this isn't alot, but too many trophies can get out of control at home. We can keep track of this right on moto maker program. This will help keep the race fees down.
c) Already in place: For every new sign up that you refer to the track, we will give you a $10.00 track credit. Please let me know at the time of sign up. This will also help keep the cost down. Remember, there alot of business that will sponsor you to race, this will not cost them alot to have there name walking around the track. Ask Andy how to approuch them.
d) We will need some volunteers for race days. As the track grows, what we will do is to cover all race fees for the volunteers. Please get on board and it will pay off in the future! We can only have so many volunteers, so please sign up at the concession stand!

Hello to the new year. I have some great news. We did get the Redline Cup Qualifier for this year. The races will be as follows:
Every Saturday Registration & Practice: 10:30am to noon
Every Thursday Practice from 5:00pm to 8:00pm
Race for Life will be June 14, 2009
State Race Qualifier will be August 15, 2009 (Double Point)
Redline Cup Qualifier will be August 16, 2009 (Triple Point)
We will be having a single point race Friday night (August 14, 2009) on this weekend. This will be a great points weekend.
The track design will be changing a little. I really think all the riders will like it.

2009 REDLINE CUP SERIES
For 2009, the REDLINE CUP Series has taken a new twist that now makes it a 3-race points series - and will award the Top-3 riders in a main with that famous REDLINE CUP numberplate! This year will be the first time that the race for that illusive yellow-background No.1 plate will be decided over accumulative points - tallying up the scores from three races. The first points race is your finish at one of the 60+ Redline Cup Qualifiers held around the country. While anybody can now race the REDLINE CUP Finals; only those who compete at a local Qualifier race will be eligible for a shot at the Championship. POINTS RACE A: While you no longer have to make your main event in order to get invited to the Finals; your placing in the RL Cup Qualifier main will now count toward your No.1 title-chase. Winning at this race could now be the difference between you and the overall No.1 plate - making the mains at RL Cup Q's even more competitive.
POINTS RACE B: Your second points race in the chase will be the PRYME U.S. OPEN; held on the Saturday of the RL CUP Finals weekend. Prior to this, the U.S. Open has never counted for more than just multi-district points. It is now a key part of your total score for the Redline Cup Championship .. and will be brought to you by PrymeGear.com; maker of the 2009 special edition Redline helmet.
POINTS RACE C: With the three regional REDLINE CUP FINALS (one on the East coast, one in Central U.S., and the third on the West), you'll now need more than just a win at the Finals to earn the No.1 Redline Cup plate and receive all of its glory. Of course, winning at the Finals will likely be a necessity to win the overall - as long as you have some good scores from the Qualifier and U.S. Open.

THREE KEY POSITIVE CHANGES
FOR PARTICIPANTS OF THE REDLINE CUP SERIES
1. Redline Cup # plates at the Finals will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place riders in every main - and can be ran all year round.
2. ANYBODY can now race the regionalized Redline Cup Finals - you no longer have to make a main event at a Qualifer in order to attend.
3. The chase to become a REDLINE CUP Champion now includes points from three events - their best finish at a RL Cup Qualifier, their finish at Saturday's PRYME U.S.Open and at Sunday's REDLINE CUP FINALS (East, Central or West).
